Usually in mother boards the black colour port is 2.0 USB port and blue colour port is 3.0 USB port. Then in the year 2000 USB 2.0 which is also known as high speed USB was released and this had a significant speed upgrade from USB 1.1 with speeds of 480 megabits per second or 60 megabytes per second and this is the most popular USB version and still it is using which is common in mobile phones and mother boards which consists of one port of 3.0 and other ports are 2.0. Then two years later in 1998, USB 1.1 was release and this had a transfer speed of 12 megabits per second. The maximum bandwidth for this version was 1.5 megabits per second. Now USB 1.0 had a transfer speed of 1.5 megabits per second which has low speed but at the time it was consider the fastest device.
